Ingredients: Bomba rice "Illa de Riu" and natural smoke. No preservatives or colouring.

Expiry date: Minimum 1 month after delivery.

Characteristics: This is a variety of round rice that is highly absorbent (up to 5 parts liquid to 1 part rice) that does not overcook and preserves its texture and flavor even when reheated. It is the best rice for paella and risotto.
When cooked it may double in length and thickness. If it is cooked longer than the recommended time the grains swell up and do not split open (hence its name in Spanish).
Protein content: 9,5 %.
Cooking time: 18-20 min.

Cooking instructions

Use 3-3.5 parts liquid (broth or water) to 1 part rice.
Boil over high heat for 10 minutes and 8 minutes more over low heat.
After 18 minutes, turn off the heat and let the rice sit for 5 minutes.

Una vera bomba .A real bomb.

Esta noche avevamo ospiti a cena e abbiamo deciso di preparare la Paella de Mariscos . Mentre Mi Esposa la preparava io apparecchiavo in giardino . Sono rientrato in cucina per chiederle cosa fosse quel profumo che arrivava in giardino . Avevamo sempre usato Arroz Bomba normale . Questo affumicato è favoloso . La Paella aveva un altro sapore . Neanche in Spagna abbiamo mangiato una Paella così buona. La crosticina con il riso affumicato viene ancora più gradevole. La qualità del riso è eccezionale il profumo muy suave . Ibergour perfetta come sempre . Se solo allargasse un po la scelta dei prodotti .....
